Getting started
Welcome to SehaCore. Here’s how to get up and running quickly:
- Create your account: Sign up at our login page. You’ll receive a confirmation email; follow the link to verify your account.
- Set up your business: Enter your business name, address, currency, and tax settings in Settings or Business Profile.
- Add users (if needed): Invite team members and assign roles (e.g. cashier, manager, accountant) via the user management section. Role-based access lets you control who can see and do what.
- Configure warehouses: If you have multiple locations, add warehouses and set stock and pricing per warehouse as needed.
- Add products and opening stock: Create your product list (name, SKU, price, category) and enter opening stock for each warehouse.
- Start selling: Use the Point of Sale (POS) to process sales, accept payments, and print receipts. You can also create sales orders and invoices from the sales module.

Account and billing
Managing your account
- Update your profile (name, email, password) from the account or profile section after logging in.
- To change your business details (company name, address, tax ID), go to Settings or Business settings.
- If you need to transfer ownership or merge accounts, contact support—we’ll guide you through the process.
Subscriptions and payments
- Plans and pricing are shown on our website and in the app. You can upgrade or downgrade from the Billing or Subscription section.
- Payments are billed in advance (monthly or annually, depending on your plan). We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.
- To cancel: use the “Cancel subscription” option in Billing. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy.
- For invoices and payment history, check the Billing or Invoices area in your account.
If a payment fails, we’ll notify you by email. Update your payment method to avoid interruption. For billing disputes or questions, contact us using the form below.
Point of sale and sales
Using the POS
- Select products by scanning barcodes or searching by name/SKU. Add quantities and apply discounts if needed.
- You can hold a sale and resume it later from the POS screen. Completed and held sales appear in your sales reports.
- Link a sale to a customer (optional) for history and loyalty. You can create customers from the POS or the Customers module.
- Choose payment method (cash, card, etc.) and complete the sale. Receipts can be printed or sent by email if configured.
Sales orders and invoices
- Create sales orders and convert them to invoices when ready. Invoices can be marked as paid from the sales or accounting module.
- Multi-currency: if enabled, you can set exchange rates and sell in different currencies. Reports can be filtered by currency.
For barcode printing, ensure your printer is set up and the product has a barcode. If you need help with hardware (scanners, printers), see our documentation or contact support.
Inventory and warehouses
Stock management
- Stock levels update automatically when you make sales, purchase stock, or perform adjustments. View current stock by product and by warehouse in the Inventory section.
- Use stock adjustments to correct counts (e.g. after a physical count). You can record reasons and reference numbers for audit.
- Stock transfers: move stock between warehouses from the Transfer or Multi-warehouse module. Transfers can be approved according to your workflow.
- Batch and expiry: if you use batch/expiry tracking, enter batch numbers and expiry dates when receiving or adjusting stock. Reports can show expiring or expired items.
Stock-taking
- Run a stock take to compare system quantity with physical count. Adjust discrepancies and finalise to update system stock. Historical stock take reports are available in Reports.
Opening stock is usually entered when you first set up a warehouse or product. If you need to bulk-import products or stock, check for an import option in the app or contact support for assistance.
Reports and analytics
SehaCore includes 20+ built-in reports. Common ones include:
- Sales: Sales summary, sales by product, by customer, by date range. Filter by warehouse if you use multi-warehouse.
- Inventory: Stock summary, stock movement, low stock, stock valuation, expiry report.
- Financial: Profit & loss (income statement), balance sheet, trial balance, ledger. These are generated from your accounting data.
- HRM: Attendance, payroll summary, leave balance, sales performance (if targets are set).
Use the date range and warehouse filters at the top of each report. You can export to PDF or Excel from the report screen. For natural-language questions about your data, use the AI Assistance feature (if available on your plan).
Frequently asked questions
On the login page, click “Forgot password” and enter the email address associated with your account. You’ll receive a link to set a new password. If you don’t receive the email, check spam or contact support.
Yes. SehaCore is cloud-based, so you can log in from any supported browser or device. Your data syncs in real time. For best experience, use a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and a stable internet connection.
Go to Users (or Team / User management) in the app. You can invite new users by email and assign roles (e.g. admin, cashier, accountant). To remove a user, deactivate or delete their account from the same section. Role-based access controls what each user can see and do.
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard practices for access control, backups, and monitoring. For more detail, see our

Most reports can be exported to PDF or Excel from the report screen. For bulk data export (e.g. products, transactions), check the relevant module for an “Export” or “Download” option. If you need a full backup or migration support, contact us.
